Jumper settings on the KENWOOD TM-V71 and TM-D710
2 m/70 cm Dual Band FM transceivers.
• Jumper #0: Located on the main PCB near the location of the Voice Module.
This is resistor R658. Jumper #0 and the green wire W601 is the same. Removal
of Jumper #0 opens up TX to 142 - 151,995 MHz and 420 - 449,995 MHz.
• Jumper #1: Located on the main PCB near the location of the Voice Module.
This is resistor R656. Removal of Jumper #1 opens up TX to 136 - 174 MHz and
400 - 470 MHz.
• Jumper #2: Located on the main PCB near the location of the Voice Module.
This is resistor 654. Enables crossband repeater and wireless remote when
installed.
• Jumper #3: Located on the lower PCB. This is resistor R967. Functionality
unknown.
• Jumper #4: Located on the lower PCB. This is resistor R971. Removal of Jumper
#4 enables SkyCommand on TM-D710.
• Jumper #5: Located on the lower PCB. This is resistor R974. Functionality
unknown.
• Jumper #6: Located on the lower PCB. Resistor name unknown. Functionality
unknown.
